Meet our staff, members of the local community who make everything that happens possible.
Greg Fuller has been the superintendent of Baue funeral homes and St. Charles Memorial Gardens since November 1998. He has lived in St. Charles since 1970, prior to that he lived in Detroit Michigan. Greg began working at Laurel Hills and Lake Charles cemetery in 1980. In 1986 Greg began working at Bruns Norwalk Vault Company, and after 11 years decided to return to the cemeteries.
As soon as he began at Baue he knew it was where he wanted to be; the compassion Baue has for their families and expectations of perfection made it a perfect fit for him.
Greg has been married to his wife Tracey since 1987 and is the father of three boys; Chad, Dustin, and Zachary. Greg is also a grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren, Joshua, Bentley, and Isabella.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys attending his children and grandchildren’s school events and spending time with his family
Kacie Derby is the Advance Planning and Cemetery Manager, and has worked at Baue Funeral Homes since 2011. She grew up in O’Fallon, MO and attended Missouri State University in Springfield. Kacie now resides in Wentzville with her husband Chris, daughter Reagan, and twin daughter and son Harper and Landon.
Kacie's team helps families plan for their funerals and final wishes ahead of time to take that emotional and financial burden off their loved ones when the time comes, as well as helps families plan their permanent memorialization in the cemetery. Kacie directs and oversees all of our grief programs, memorial events, and Silver & Gold 60+ Senior Club events. She is a member of the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce, Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, Cottleville-Weldon Springs Chamber of Commerce, Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, Senior Services Task Force, and the Community Council of St. Charles County.
In Kacie’s spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Barb Haag has been a Family Service Director since July of 2021. After growing up in St. Louis, she began building her resume, working in several fields, including the banking and printing industry. As she gained experience in customer service and project management, she progressed into sales. Now, as a part of the Funeral Industry, she is fueled by a passion to help families.
At home, Barb enjoys spending time with her daughter, Amanda, and her cats Garth Brooks and Buffy, as well as gardening. On the weekends, she loves being adventurous and traveling to attend concerts.
Mike grew up in St. Louis near the Hill and attended Missouri State University in Springfield where he received a B. S. in Organizational Communications. He and his wife, Patty, have three children, Olivia, Isabella, and Julia. They have a Golden Retriever named Holly. He is a member of St. Peters Parish in Kirkwood and is on the Executive Committee and is the Social Media Coordinator for the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, sporting events, and spending time with his family outdoors. He is passionate about helping others through an extremely tough time in their lives because he has experienced firsthand the pain of loss when his brother, Scott was tragically killed in 2015 six months after the death of their mother. They have honored Scott’s life with the creation of the Scott Knopfel Memorial Dine Out which benefits hospitality workers.
Alexis Mast has been a Family Service Director with Baue Funeral Homes since October 2019. Alexis graduated from Lindenwood University with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She is grateful to be able to help those in our community when they need it most.
Alexis grew up and lives in O’Fallon, MO with her husband. She loves being outside, enjoys finding new hiking trails and parks to explore, enjoys cooking, and trying new restaurants.
Brittany Neunuebel serves as Family Service Director, motivated by her lifelong commitment to helping others. Her career in service began in academic advising, culminating with an Educational Doctorate in Higher Education and Student Services. With over 15 years in higher education administration, Brittany continues to enrich students’ lives as an adjunct professor at Lindenwood University. She also dedicates time to teaching Sunday school. Outside of her professional commitments, Brittany enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her husband and two children, frequently visiting parks. She actively engages in her community as the program liaison for the St. Charles chapter of the Little Black Book Women in Business network and as a leisure book club facilitator. Brittany is also a devoted attendee at numerous philanthropic events in St. Charles, continually seeking ways to contribute. Her commitment to nurturing young minds extends to leading a multi-level Girl Scout Troop, embracing the adventures and values of the Girl Scout promise and law. During the fall, she can be found cheering on her son at a nearby soccer field. Brittany’s varied roles highlight her deep commitment to her own family, the broader community, and the families she supports at Baue Funeral Homes and St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
Sara Ruemker has proudly built a meaningful career around serving and strengthening families during vulnerable times and empowering them with the tools to navigate life’s challenges. Serving as a Family Service Director at Baue Funeral Home and St Charles Memorial Gardens since 2019, Sara works with families to preplan and prearrange for funeral services and cemetery property, allowing them to make beautiful, wise and sound decisions for their loved ones.
Sara was born and raised in North County and went on to graduate from Lindenwood University with both a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Administration. Sara served on the Programs Team at the St Louis Area Foodbank for over 10 years and was instrumental in expansion of programs to bring greater food security into the lives of families over 14 counties in Missouri and Illinois. With Baue Funeral Home and St Charles Memorial Gardens, she proudly values service and quality of experience for families she assists above all else.
In the community, Sara works closely with various Chambers of Commerce in St Charles County, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Lindenwood Women in Leadership program.
Sara calls Jefferson County home where she lives with her husband and their three young children. When away from work, she can be found traveling with her family, cheering on the kiddos at youth sports, and enjoying time with friends.
Karin Tilton brings a unique blend of hospitality expertise and compassionate service to her role at Baue Funeral Homes, where she joined the team in October 2023. Originally from Washington, IL, Karin now calls St. Charles, MO, home.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Marketing from Western Illinois University, providing her with a strong foundation for her career in hospitality sales. Karin spent a decade honing her skills in the hospitality industry, serving in various roles including sales manager and director of sales with Hilton.
Outside of her professional life, Karin finds joy in her family and furry companions. She is the proud mother of two boys, aged 29 and 31, and shares her home with her beloved rescue dog, Cole. Family time holds a special place in Karin's heart, and she treasures moments spent with her loved ones.
Karin's commitment to service extends beyond her professional endeavors, as she is actively involved with her church, Zion Lutheran in Valley Park, MO. She finds fulfillment in giving back to her community through her church involvement.
In her leisure time, Karin enjoys practicing yoga, tending to her garden, and getting lost in the pages of a good book. These hobbies provide her with moments of relaxation and rejuvenation amidst her busy schedule.
When asked about her transition to funeral service, Karin emphasizes the natural alignment between her background in hospitality and her desire to support families during difficult times. She views funeral service as an extension of her passion for helping others, and she is dedicated to assisting families as they plan and navigate through one of life's most challenging moments. Karin's compassionate approach and wealth of experience make her a valuable asset to the Baue Funeral Homes team.
Kelly Kreitler has been a Family Service Director with Baue Funeral Homes since February 2024. Kelly graduated from Lindenwood University with her Bachelors in Business Administration. After working in non-profit for eight years, she wanted to continue serving the community and helping others.
Kelly lives in Florissant, MO with her dog, Walter. She loves being outside, traveling, listening to live music and trying new restaurants.
Angie Vercimak has been a Family Service Director since February of 2024. She began building her resume as a Nurse Assistant knowing that she wanted to do something that would make a difference in the lives of others. Her career path allowed her the opportunity to grow her experience in IT, Accounting, and most importantly Customer Relations. Now, as a part of the Baue family, she is able to continue her passion in life for helping those in need.
Angie lives in the St. Charles area with her husband Adam and three kids, Emma, Brennan, and Mason. She enjoys playing softball, coaching baseball, singing and playing piano, but most of all attending all of her kids sporting events, she is their biggest fan!
Melinda Redding joined the team at Baue Funeral Homes on October 12, 2020. She was born and raised in St. Charles and currently lives in St. Peters. Melinda initially pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education at Lindenwood University. After teaching elementary school for a year, she decided to explore a new career path while still carrying her passion for education.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, Melinda brings valuable knowledge and a nurturing spirit to her role. Aside from her professional life, she is a proud mother of three grown children and shares her life with her loving husband and four cats.
Melinda is dedicated to her community and serves as a board member of the Associated Cemeteries of Missouri. She also acts as the Location Coordinator for Wreaths Across America at SCMG, contributing to the mission of honoring and remembering veterans.
In her free time, Melinda enjoys spending quality time with her family through various activities, cherishing these moments with her loved ones.
